I have certainly enjoyed the recent rush of neighbours getting their home extensions and renovations carried out over the last 3 or 4 years.  I am now the longerst serving neighbour in this part of our development.   Then there’s the house at no.5 which only changed hands 4 years ago.   They certainly do not apper to build such nicely comfortable homes as this estate I am living on.    There are some gorgeous even larger houses on another development – not conent with building luxury detached 4 bed, double garaged homes, they have to go bigger and better.  It’s a kiler when the couples coming after my generation all expect to be housed in or simple housing properties.  just like their counter parts of the 1960s  to 1990s.  The world of housing contracts has gone mad and todays generation are just begining to appreciate what they have.  Bigger & Better means huge and epensive but well built, with off road parking, good heating schemes, some sort of climate change offset feature etc.
